Toxicity Evaluations

Unlike other technologies which are commonly used for open water spill response – such as dispersants and in situ burning – IMBIBER BEADS® has been proven by third party testing to be non-toxic and to present no risk to the environment or marine life. 

Third party laboratory testing in two different locations have come back conclusive that IMBIBER BEADS® are non-toxic.

In addition, IMBIBER BEADS® received from an agency in UK the "Food and Environment Protection Act (FEPA) 1985, Part II Approval of substances produced for the purpose of treating oil on the surface of the sea."
